For reflection and everyday practice

Understanding ourselves often continues after a conversation or teaching ends. A question stays with us. We notice a response we had not recognized before. We begin to see how an idea applies to an ordinary moment in our lives.

Teaching for the questions you carry

My teaching explores questions about who we are, what has shaped us, and how we respond when life changes. The aim is to give you language for what you may be experiencing and questions you can consider in your own life.

As teaching videos are added here, you can return to the ideas that are most relevant to your current season.

A Place to Begin

One recent situation

Think of one recent situation that stayed with you. You do not need to choose the most difficult experience in your life. Begin with something you feel comfortable considering.

What happened? What did you understand it to mean about yourself or someone else? Did that meaning influence what you did next?

Now consider whether there may be something you need to question, something you need to acknowledge, or a choice you want to make differently. You do not have to resolve it all at once. The purpose is to notice what may be influencing you.
